Ein Safer Space, also ein geschützterer Raum, ist ein Raum, der explizit an eine Gruppe mit einem gemeinsamen Diskriminierungsmerkmal gerichtet ist und andere Personen ausschließt.
Das ist wichtig, damit die jeweilige Gruppe sich ohne/mit weniger Angst vor Übergriffen austauschen und empowern kann.
Da Räume nie für alle vollkommen sicher sein können, sprechen wir nicht von safe spaces sondern von saferen Räumen, oder auch von brave oder soft spaces.
In unserem Workshopprogramm gibt es z. B. Workshops, die sich nur an Bi_PoC oder nur an Schwarze Menschen richten, oder nur an Bi_PoC, die außerdem queer, trans* oder inter sind.
Bitte achtet auf die Ankündigungen und respektiert die Räume.

A safer space, is a space (of exchange, networking, discussion, healing) that is explicitly built for a group with a common intersection of experienced discrimination. This space excludes people who do not share those experiences in their lives.
This is important so that the particular group can share experiences and empower themselves without/with less fear of assault.
Since spaces can never be completely safe for everyone, we do not speak of safe spaces but of safer spaces, or brave or soft spaces.
In our workshop program there are workshops that are only for Bi_PoC or for Black people, or only for Bi_PoC who are also queer, trans* or inter.
Please pay attention to the announcements and respect the spaces.
